System Technician Traffic Computer Systems (m/f/d)

We are looking for a detailed and analytically thinking system technician for our company in Berlin. In this position you are responsible for the design, implementation and maintenance of traffic computer systems. The ideal candidate has well-founded technical expertise, exceptional problem solving skills and a strong commitment to optimising system performance and reliability. Transport computer systems in Berlin and Land Brandenburg System and functional design within the framework of system integration Project processing, including as a subproject manager, from the workbook to the handover Level 1/ Level 2 Support for traffic calculators and takeover of the readiness service Implementation of instructions or User training Monitoring system performance, identification of bottlenecks and implementation of optimization strategies Fixing complex technical problems and providing timely solutions to minimize downtime Automation of routine tasks and processes using script and configuration management tools Maintenance of comprehensive documentation of system configurations, procedures and best practices Cooperation with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new systems and upgrades Implementation and enforcement of safety protocols and compliance standards across infrastructure Implementation of capacity planning and recommendation of infrastructure improvements based on analytical assessments Technical support and consulting of customers and other departments

Experience in system administration, IT infrastructure or similar technical fields Very good knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems Experience with virtualization technologies and containerization tools Knowledge of networking, storage and system architecture Knowledge in script languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell or the like) Experience with infrastructure monitoring and management tools Embossed analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail Excellent organizational and temporal management skills Ability to work independently and cooperatively in a team Impressed communication skills in German and the ability to document technical processes clearly
