Working Student Sustainability Ecology - Climate (m/f/d)

You support the sustainability team in organizing, collecting and testing the annual climate balance according to the Greenhouse Gas Protocol and in accordance with the requirements of the Science Based Targets Initiative (SBTi). You participate in preparatory analyses of the climate balance and assist in deriving and evaluating reduction measures to achieve our climate targets. You will gain insights into various climate-specific topics, such as CSRD reporting, supplier engagement, and the development and implementation of a climate transition plan, and support the team in these areas. You help in the preparation and production of internal and external reports and assist in research, competitive analysis and benchmarks and thus contribute to the successful implementation of the objectives of our WWF Partnership Agreement. You are actively involved in other topics of the sustainability team, which reduce our environmental footprint and further strengthen our sustainability commitment, depending on the technical priorities and interests, e.g. circular economy, biodiversity or water.

You are studying climate protection, energy and environmental management/controlling, or sustainability, environmental, natural or engineering sciences or a comparable subject. You will learn about sustainability, especially in climate context, such as climate accounting (Scope 1-3) of companies and products according to the GHG Protocol and the Science-Based Targets Initiative. You are strong in communication, you like to work in the team, and you can prepare content with PowerPoint to address. You bring analytical skills, a good numerical understanding and a safe handling of Excel. You have good German and English skills and work structured, carefully as well as independently and on time.
