Specialist – Fundamental questions of network economics (m/f/d)

You evaluate complex energy-economic issues from the further development of network charges, the allocation of network connection capacities to the design of construction cost grants. In doing so, you are continuously expanding your network expertise in a dynamic regulatory environment and working on key issues relating to network connections, network access and network charging systems. Because you are driving forward the development and standardisation of future-oriented contractual models – for example “Flexible Connection Agreements” (FCAs), you create the basis for efficient network connections. You know the current legal and regulatory frameworks of the energy industry – e.g. EEG, EnWG, StromNEV and StromVKG – and are always looking at relevant developments and trends. In addition, TransnetBW’s interests are sovereign to external partners, such as in cooperation with other network operators or association work.

You have completed a university degree, have several years of professional experience within the energy industry and ideally have a PhD with an energy-saving approach. Your German impresses with written and oral eloquence and allows you to communicate clearly, addressably and at eye level across different hierarchy levels. New, challenging topics will delight you and convince you with a pronounced analytical and solution-oriented approach. You have fun in teamwork, want to take responsibility for their own projects at the same time, can combine different interests in a solution-oriented manner and act successfully in a complex environment of internal and external stakeholders.
