Leadership, management and control of the departmentYou take over the supervision of your department. You bear product and financial responsibility and control the economic use of the available resources. You control and control performance and ensure high-quality and targeted performance. You develop goals, priorities and guidelines for the work of your department and implement them together with your team. You perform your employees clearly, value-estimating and target-oriented while respecting the urban regulations and requirements. You observe the technical, organisational and structural developments in your area of responsibility and, if necessary, initiate appropriate control measures. You shall take decisions in basic, professional, human, financial and organizational matters unless You fall within the competence of the specialist service.

Administrative tasks of the Department of Civil Engineering and Green AreasCoordinating and setting up the budget applications Administrative implementation of requirements of the municipal bodies and the Executive Board for planning and/or Implementation of measures in the field of civil engineering and green areas Control and management of orders and payment to external companies (co-)working and (co-)decisions of difficult individual cases and those of fundamental importance (green area set-up, replacement for maintaining traffic safety, foreign water supply)

Your qualification You have the competence for the category 2 of the General Services Department, 1. Entry Office (formerly Higher General Administrative Service) or are among the comparable employees with an employee examination II or you have a matching completed university degree (e.g. administrative science, administrative economics, law) You have knowledge of federal and European procurement law and ideally financial and business experience Experience as leadership is desirable A basic structural and technical understanding is important for this position knowledge of HKR software H&H or the willingness to acquire them in the short term driving licence class B/3 desirable User knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Your strengths You work independently and independently You have a pronounced service orientation and are capable of communication A high degree of conflict and critique characterizes you You are an organizational institution and like to make decisions
