Flight Test Instrumentation (FTI) Engineer (m/f/d)

Flight Test Instrumentation begins long before the first flight. In this role, you in the laboratory and integration environment ensure that sensor technology, measurement technology and data systems are correctly designed, validated and prepared - as a basis for later flight tests. You develop, configure and document instrumentation solutions including sensor technology and schematics The validation and calibration of sensors and measuring chains are carried out in the laboratory environment Digital Mock-Ups (DMU) uses and integrates you into system design and coordination For security-critical system integration, secure data integrity and system integrity In case of deviations, you take error analysis, verification and reprocessing of the measurement data

You bring a completed study in electrical engineering, aerospace technology or a comparable technical study programme with In the context of Flight Test Instrumentation, Measurement, Data Collection or System Integration, you have at least 3-5 years of professional experience Measurement technology, sensor technology and electrical engineering and signal processing are your core technical competencies The safe handling of data collection systems, data bus protocols such as ARINC, AFDX, Ethernet and tools such as MATLAB/Simulink, Vector or IMC is of course for you With analytical thinking skills, team orientation and very good English skills (C1) as well as German on B1-B2 level, you adapt professionally and personally to the team
