The tasks include the independent planning, coordination and implementation of a project in the field of the digital quality assessment of additively manufactured (AM) metallic aircraft components in cooperation with partners from the economy as part of an aviation research programme (LuFo VII). The task area focuses on the development and application of a data analysis framework for the temporal and spatial segmentation of process and ISPM data. It is intended to develop a merged multimodal representation of a PBF-LB/M model cycle with reduced data scope as a basis for statistical process control or digital further processing. In addition to the multimodal data fusion and evaluation, on a single system basis, the evaluation of a data base of an already installed melting bath monitoring system (Melt Pool Monitoring, MPM) obtained in experiments is part of the task. In detail, the following tasks result: Coordination of work and common visibility of results with the participating project partners from science and industry Extension of an existing NoSQL backend to a data warehouse of a PBF-LB/M process chain by integration of ISPM and computer tomography data sets Development of clients for defined interrogation routines with the aim of representing signals from the data warehouse for any PBF-LB/M components in a spatially and temporally variable resolution in a voxel domain. This includes the development of algorithms for data synchronization, transformation and reduction into a uniform reference system taking into account geometric distortions and noise of the available signals. further development of clients for the targeted evaluation and visualization of the voxel domains of any PBF-LB/M component Planning and implementation of tests on a PBF-LB/M plant and its virtual machine (VM) Sensitivity analysis of an MPM system for systematic evaluation of the influences of process variables and events on the measurement behavior Analysis and evaluation of approaches to the detection of process anomalies in fused multimodal data Publication of results in national and international journals and at conferences and conferences Support for young scientists (according to student assistants and support for graduation)
