DevOps Engineer Java (m/f/d)

In a nutshell: Together with your team, you take over the analysis, planning and implementation of build and deployment pipelines and infrastructure automation for business-critical system landscapes with our customers. Analyzing requirements: To this end, you collect the requirements and the technical starting position of the customer, guide solution concepts and implement them, possibly also in tender situations. Plan system environments: You plan, document and map system environments and processes and monitor them. Design operation and maintenance: You design operation and maintenance of the operated applications taking into account scaling, reliability, aeration, monitoring, logging and security. Automation: Automate build, release and deployment processes (CI/CD) in complex staging environments. Frictionless Release Management: Ensure easy and safe automated roll-out of software and project relays. You advise our customers on quality and process optimisation as a contact person.

Experience: You have automation expertise and know yourself with “Infrastructure as Code” concepts, CI/CD, build pipelines, containerization, cloud services and related tools. You also love to support it as part of a software team with automated processes and tools, thereby constantly increasing the software quality. Knowledge of development: You have very good knowledge of object-oriented development with Java or comparable languages as well as in common script languages (e.g. Bash, Python, Groovy). CI/CD experience: experience with CI/CD, including the associated tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GIT, SonarQube, Artifactory, Nexus, Maven, Gradle, etc.) Infrastructure as Code: You have deep insights into “Infrastructure as Code” concepts and orchestration platforms (Docker Compose, Swarm, Kubernetes, Terraform) and are safe to use common automation tools such as Chef, Puppet, Ansible or Saltstack. Cloud experience: Ideally, you have already gained experience in IT operations, Public Cloud (AWS, Azure) or Private Cloud (OpenStack, OpenShift). AI Competence: You use AI tools in your area of expertise, evaluate the results critically and support customers and adessi to use potentials of AI. Language knowledge: Very good German and good English skills
