Technical support and monitoring of signal and train safety systems as well as the associated IT and control systems Analysis of faults, system vulnerabilities and operating events to derive sustainable technical measures Assessment of plant condition and identification of optimization and modernisation potentials Planning of new, re- and replacement measures for signal and train safety systems Technical development of existing systems taking into account operational requirements and regulatory requirements Creation of technical concepts and planning requirements (for internal and external project participants) Translation of operational and operational requirements into implementable technical solutions as well as monitoring of implementations up to acceptance (without construction and maintenance responsibility) in cooperation and coordination with internal specialist departments, supervisory authorities, planning offices, suppliers and construction companies Creation of lists of services and technical tender documents as well as participation in award procedures and expert evaluation of offers

Completed study (Bachelor or Master) with orientation electrical or automation technology, mechatronics, information technology (or comparable) Knowledge of electrotechnical standards and experience in handling complex technical systems knowledge (control units and documents) for the planning and operation of signal and train safety systems according to EBO and BOStrab or the willingness to obtain this knowledge Secure handling of MS-Office; M365, SAP, AutoCAD and other programs are desirable Structure, analytical and solution-oriented mode of operation combined with a pronounced technical understanding Teamability and communication competence (with internal and external interfaces) Class B driving licence
