Head and strategic further development of department 2 in the Landeskirchenamt Participation in the Church-leading reflection and design of ecclesiastical developments from theological perspective Responsibility for central questions of theological training and the Examination Office as well as cooperation with relevant bodies at the level of the Evangelical Church in Germany and the Confederation of Protestant Churches in Lower Saxony Responsibility for the areas of ecclesiastical education (including theological centre, abbot-Jerusalem Academy), in particular in the fields of religious education, daycare centers as well as doctorate and predatory services Perception of church tasks in the area of deacons and cooperation with diacon institutions Mission, Ecumenical and worldwide Church, in particular in cooperation with ecumenical partners and in interreligious dialogue Participation in national and supra-regional bodies as well as representation of the national church in ecclesiastical and socially sensitive contexts
