For ProMinent GmbH we are looking for a Director of / Head of Group Finance & Accounting (m/w/d).

You run the local Accounting, Group Accounting and Guidance as well as Treasury at our headquarters in Heidelberg and take over the leadership of 7-8 employees. You are also a savings partner of the CFO. They are responsible for the preparation of the consolidated financial statements after the HGB creation of consolidated monthly financial statements and annual financial statements. They drive the continuous improvement and automation of the processes in corporate accounting including Intercompany voting. They adopt the harmonisation of group-wide assessment standards. You update and optimize the accounting material as well as training of international accountants in the companies to internal standards. They ensure compliant sales realization in the context of long-term order production. They are contact persons for ad hoc reporting in the case of requests from shareholders, management and CFO. They form the interface between consolidation and finance. They build a division consolidation with a transfer to the group billing. They carry out proactive balance sheet reviews and raise an eye on value rise potentials in the company portfolio. They coordinate the optimization of the tax rate and fiscal processes such as standards/compliance for route operations. They optimize local accounting processes and introduce standards. They ensure a high quality of booking. In addition, build the Treasury area and develop the global cash pooling process.

They have a successfully completed economic studies of BWL, Accounting, Financial and Accounting. At best you have the additional qualification as a tax advisor. You can demonstrate comprehensive professional experience and financial security in corporate accounting in an international industrial company with its own value-added depth and/or in an audit company with industrial focus / focus on producing companies with international locations. Ideally, you have already been able to gain experience in the environment from the middle class and family business. They are routined in dealing with SAP applications, MS-Office as well as consolidation tools and are characterized by affinity for IT processes. They speak German and English in a safe manner. They are characterized by high communication security and hands-on mentality. Local service trips to our locations are not a problem for you.
