Qualification for the category 2, first entry office of the department General Services or Completed training on/for administrative staff with the registered employee examination II or completed three years of commercial training and exercise of a comparable activity due to equivalent skills and experience or Completed training for the administrative specialist and the existence of the exemption from the compulsory training and examination in accordance with point 7(7). 5(a) of the basic classification schemes for remuneration scheme VKA or Completed (FH) degree (Bachelor) in the fields of social and cultural sciences (e.g. social education, sociology, political sciences) Experience with voluntary and voluntary commitment Willingness to work in the evening and on weekends as well as on business trips within Europe (e.g. visiting partner cities) Important competences: Very good English in word and writing, ideal French High level of initiative and independent work Communication strength and empathy Intercultural competence and familiarity with the local and regional volunteer landscape Organisational capacity, also in cooperation with volunteers Conversation and negotiation skills

Funding and support of the Volunteer Office: Central contact person*in a lottery function for people who perform or strive for voluntary activity Network work with all parties involved in the Volunteer Office Construction and management of a new Volunteer Exchange Consultation, information, mediation and support of people of all ages and of any origin on the possibilities of voluntary engagement Advising, addressing and supporting associations, welfare associations, churches and organisations seeking volunteers or already working with volunteers Planning and implementation of network meetings for volunteers, associations and organizations Organisation and implementation of projects Advice on concepts

Urban partnerships and cooperation: Initiation of new and revitalization of existing urban partnerships and cooperations Organisation of the visit of delegations from partner cities Preparation and organisation of trips to the partner cities, incl. Organisation and implementation of European events
