We, the Commercial & Contract Law division, a unit of the Otto Group Legal Service Department, with a focus on civil and commercial law, are responsible for all Otto Group's national and international corporations, in particular in terms of contract design for all operational business areas. You are working on intra-group settlement contracts - from draft to successful conclusion. You are responsible for contract management and maintenance of the SAP contract database. You enter and advise our internal clients in the context of existing operational processes. You're working on customer cases and litigation. You support business transactions. Must-have: You have legal background (e.g. as an economic lawyerin, diploma journalistin, graduate*in 1. exams, paralegal etc.) Knowledge of Contract Law and Civil Process Law Individually responsible, proactive, careful and structured procedures Very good understanding of complex economic relationships Strong, enduring and targeted communication skills Language level: German C2 (approximately native) and English B2 (self-employed language use) as well as security in the conduct of correspondences in German and English Experienced handling of MS-Office Nice-to-have: Ideally first experience in a company or law firm Process strength and interest in analyzing and optimizing internal processes To optimize processes with legal technology tools
