Cloud Solution Architect Application Modernization (m/f/d)

Define Cloud Target Architectures: You analyze existing application landscapes of our customers, identify modernization potentials and develop sustainable target images for cloud architectures before, during and after migration. Formal migration strategies: You select suitable migration and modernization strategies (e.g. Rehost, Replatform, Refactor, Rearchitect) and translate them into concrete architecture roadmaps and transition scenarios. Dedicated Cloud-native solutions: You design cloud-native architectures (e.g. microservices, event drives, API-First, container/columnnetes) based on the common Hyperscaler (Azure, AWS, GCP) and also consider German cloud alternatives (e.g. STACKIT, Open Telekom Cloud, IONOS Cloud). Overnimm End-to-End Responsibility: You accompany projects from early architectural consulting, design and decision phases to implementation, transition and optimization in ongoing operation. Control the collaboration with delivery teams: You work closely with development, DevOps and platform teams, translate architecture specifications into implementable guide planks (Guardrails) and ensure integration in CI/CD, IaC and operating processes. Berate and convince stakeholders: You moderate customer workshops (e.g. assessments, target image and architecture workshops), form decision-making templates and present architectures in a targeted manner for specialist areas and management.

Found professional experience in the cloud environment: You have a completed IT-related study or a comparable training and several years of experience than (Solution/Software/Enterprise) architect:in the cloud context. Expertise in Cloud Architectures & Migration: You have a deep understanding of cloud architectures, migration practices and frameworks (such as hyperscaler cloud adoption frameworks) and have already applied them to customer projects. Modernisation and integration skills: You know common modernization approaches (e.g. Microservices, API-First, Event-driven, Container/Kubernetes) and are familiar with topics such as identity & access, networking, data, integration and observability. Experience with Multi-Cloud & German providers: You can safely move into at least one Hyperscaler ecosystem (Azure, AWS or GCP) and ideally have touch points with German cloud providers (e.g. STACKIT, Open Telekom Cloud, IONOS Cloud). Strong consulting skills: You can structure complex technical and technical relationships, translate them into clear architectural decisions and communicate them in an address-oriented manner - from developer teams to management. KI competence: You have first experience in the design or integration of AI/GenAI services (e.g. Cognitive Services, LLMs, ML platforms) in cloud architectures and are motivated to develop this knowledge in a targeted manner. Language skills: You have very good German and good English skills.
