Trainee (f/d/m) Capital Markets Trading

Trading is responsible for structuring, pricing, hedging and risk management of all DZ BANK AG's capital market products. The focus of our trading activities is on product groups which are of particular importance to the core customers of the bank, in particular the Volksbanken and Raiffeisenbanken, whose private and corporate customers as well as institutional customers. Essentially, these are shares and bonds of European issuers as well as structured products and asset certificates. We also offer customer-oriented securitisation and packaging solutions, foreign exchange and raw material products as well as associated interest, equity, FX and credit derivatives. The trade will take place in Frankfurt. As part of our team, a dynamic environment awaits you, in which you can not only build expertise in different asset classes, financial products and systems in different teams, but also develop your methodological, social and digital skills. In your 12-month trainee program with an individual schedule, you will be active in the various units of the Capital Markets division. The location of your activity is Frankfurt. You also have the opportunity to hospitate in different interface units and thus gain a broad insight into the capital market business.

You have a successfully completed master's degree in full-time (summary 2.5 or better), preferably in the fields of economics, natural sciences, computer science, or with a quantitative background. Your Master's degree will be short at the time of your application or will not be longer than 12 months. You are interested in current developments in the capital market and, through internships or work-studierende activities, you will already learn about capital market products, so that you can quickly enter the daily business. Through your structured and analytical approach, you can independently develop solutions for complex topics with the aim of improving our products, methods and processes sustainably. You have a high IT affinity and ideally bring first experience in dealing with commercial software, data analysis tools or relevant programming languages (such as Python). You are open to new things and you want to introduce your knowledge to different teams and thus contribute to success. You are strong in communication in German and English (min. C1 level), in writing and oral, in order to safely represent your opinion towards team members and superiors.

Perspective: You start with an unlimited contract and a salary of EUR 71,000 during and EUR 77,000 according to the trainee program.
