The Transport Management Road takes over the public tasks for the operation of the local transport infrastructure in the port area. These include the planning and operation of the lighting systems and public lighting as well as traffic monitoring by the Port Road Management Center (PRMC). We also consider road transport from an analytical and strategic perspective and are responsible for the development of transport in the port. This includes close cooperation with internal and external partners to promote sustainable and future-oriented transport solutions.

You are responsible for strategic traffic planning, operational traffic management and coordination of all traffic-relevant infrastructure measures. Together with your teams, you will ensure that people, goods and information flow reliably through Germany's largest port area. You are responsible for the resource, budget and investment planning of your area and ensure the economic use of the available financial resources. The further development of the processes and costs in the operational ITS systems also fall under your responsibility. You initiate and tax innovative infrastructure, transport and digitalization projects with high strategic importance for the HPA. You identify funding opportunities at national, federal and EU level, develop eligible project approaches and, together with your teams, manage the successful application, implementation and billing of appropriate programs. You represent the interests of HPA in national and European project consortia, specialist bodies and networks.

You have a completed academic degree programme, for example in civil engineering, traffic planning, urban planning, infrastructure management or a comparable degree programme. You can demonstrate several years of leadership experience in a leading position in the traffic, infrastructure or port environment. You have a well-founded knowledge of traffic planning, traffic management and relevant rules. Experiences in the coordination of complex infrastructure and construction measures, as well as in cooperation with authorities and policy makers, are characteristic of you. Knowledge of modern traffic management systems, intelligent traffic systems and digital technologies are ideally brought along. You convince by strategic thinking, strong communication strength and a value-adding, cooperative leadership personality. Your profile is rounded off as well as good English skills.
