Support Engineer (m/w/d) Willich Your area of responsibility Support for contract customers: part of the standby team, answering customer emails, opening customer cases, closing and reporting of customer cases Quality of services provided to customers: The customer's production process should be resumed as soon as possible. Find the best and lasting solution for customer problems, dropping and reporting. Reporting of repeat product errors Competence development: Self-directing to systems of customers with support contract, methods such as self-study of project documents, customer visits and participation in customer projects are sensible Decision-making capacity: Support Engineer makes decisions about customer interaction and communication. Your profile Higher education degree: Bachelor or comparable degree in IT/Software development or automation technology 4-5 years of professional experience in automation, IT or software development projects Experience in communication and the appropriate handling of customers from different cultures Ability and desire to work quickly into new things Ability to independently solve electrical, mechanical and software-based problems, but also to work socially and cooperatively in the team to develop solutions that improve system support business Excellent customer and service orientation as well as very good social, communication and cooperation skills Stress resistance as well as organised and analytical procedures Good knowledge of German and English in word and writing System competencies in the following areas are advantageous: Linux OS, in particular Redhat/CentOS, Database Programming, Progress/Oracle, Java Programming, Bosch Rexroth Drives/SPS, Siemens S7 Tiaportal, Allen Bradley Control Logix JOBV1_EN
