In order to strengthen our team at the Heidelberg site, we are looking for an experienced and high-communication Mining Fleet Manager (w/m/d) for the Heidelberg Materials Mineralik DE GmbH, which manipulates and optimizes the use of construction machines, heavy mobile equipment and trucks in quarries (over and underground), gravel, cement and recycling plants.

They report to the Head of Production & Technology Mineralik.

The following responsible tasks are waiting for you:

Health & Safety Improving occupational safety, compliance with environmental requirements and ensuring quality requirements in the area of responsibility

Personal participation in occupational safety training measures internally and/or professional

Implementation of security talks, security visits and (ad-hoc) risk assessments (GBUs)

Fleet Management holistic management of an extensive machine and truck fleet (about 630 construction machines and 55 trucks) including technical design, specifications and performance testing

Data-based control and optimization of the fleet by using KPIs as well as strategic fleet planning and efficiency enhancement in operation and maintenance

Participation in investment decisions and purchasing processes, including prioritization, application creation and accompaniment of procurement

Implementation of technical innovations and support in complex maintenance projects (rebuilds, repairs) taking into account cost-effectiveness, safety and sustainability

Mining Strategic optimization & continuous improvement (e.g. automation, digitization, extraction concepts, process and degradation planning)

Contact for Global Competence Center (CCA and CCC) and cooperation in the implementation of Group Projects in this area

Coaching & Training & Best Practice Sharing (national)

To successfully master your future tasks, you should bring:

Successfully completed technical studies, e.g. in the field of raw materials, process engineering, mechanical engineering

Multiannual experience in the raw materials and/or recycling industry as well as in the handling of construction machines

Business knowledge, in particular in budget planning and key figures analysis

Good knowledge of English, high flexibility and readiness to travel (up to 25% nationwide)

Expressed initiative, keen to decide and implement

High level of self-motivation, sense of responsibility and entrepreneurial thinking

Impressed communication, team and decision-making
