Tasks:

• Execution of tests and commissioning of electric and diesel-electric locomotives both in the factory and in the customer on site
• Implementation of test schedules and documentation of results
• Conducting test drives on the factory track as well as troubleshooting and analysis
• Participation in customer acceptances
• Implementation of change, maintenance and repair work on vehicles
• Implementation of vehicle modernizations and modifications
• Ensure compliance with environmental, occupational safety and compliance requirements

Profile:

• Electronics, mechatronics,industrial electricians or a comparable qualification,additional qualification as technician or master
• Experience in the commissioning of rail vehicles as well as in the electrical fault search
• safe handling of wiring documents,ideal experience in creating such documents
• Technical understanding and joy in solving complex issues
• Ready to work in two-shift operation
• Travel readiness for temporary operations in Germany and abroad
• good knowledge of German and English
