As a non-profit association we operate 44 youth hostels and two natural kindergartens in the most beautiful places in Baden-Württemberg. We create moments and experiences that remain in our head and go to heart. In a family atmosphere, we work daily to meet this goal. Hostel Hohenstaufen has 134 beds in 28 rooms and 8 tree houses. We create encounters and unforgettable experiences for school classes, families and groups. Our team is committed to making the guests feel comfortable in the youth hostel every day. Become part of this team as Receptionist (m/w/d) from now on / part-time (25 hours) / initially limited to 2 years

Check-in/check-out of our guests and guest care throughout the stay. Contract agreements with guests/groups and complaint management. With the help of creating program offers. General reception tasks such as correspondence, invoice creation, cash management and conclusion, processing of bookings and reservations on the current booking platforms, telephone service. Advising and completing memberships. Small sale. Responsibility for cleanliness and decoration and plant care in the reception and entrance area. Organisation of supply of machines. If necessary, assistance in other areas of the Youth Hostel (e.g. meeting area).

You ideally have completed vocational training in the hotel industry or in the tourism sector and already have professional experience. You are the perfect host and have a structured, targeted and solution-oriented way of working. Team skills, social competence and leadership skills are yours. You have good IT skills and experience in handling MS 365. You have certain knowledge of German and English in word and writing. Further language skills are advantageous. You are ready for a 5-day week including weekend and holiday services.
