About the role: We are seeking a skilled Senior Systems Integration Engineer to lead the process of identifying, characterizing and solving problems that we receive back from the field. This pivotal role requires a hands-on engineer who can bridge the gap between software, electronics, and mechanical design to ensure structured and efficient balancing of field issues. You will be instrumental in ensuring our products not only meet but exceed performance expectations by establishing robust integration processes and improving our systems based on real-world operational data. You will own key customer-facing deliverables, including documentation and diagnostic tools, and will be a primary technical point of contact for external partners.

What is your Day to Day Mission: System Integration: Lead the integration of our battery and charging systems across software, electronic hardware, and mechanical designs within diverse customer UAV platforms.

Internal Collaboration: Partner closely with our internal engineering teams (software, hardware, mechanical, validation) during the integration, testing, and validation phases for our series products.

Field Optimization & Support: Diagnostic and resolve complex technical issues in the field, working directly with customers to ensure optimal system performance and reliability.

Product Improvement: Translate valuable feedback from field operations and customer interactions into actionable recommendations for our system and hardware teams development to enhance our products.

Battery Troubleshooting: Perform technical troubleshooting and teardown of battery packs.

What you bring to the team:

Experience: Proven background in systems integration, particularly involving software, electronics, and mechanical components.

Technical Proficiency: Strong ability to read and interpret electrical circuits, PCB layouts, and mechanical drawings. You should be proficient in understanding C-code for embedded systems familiar with 3D CAD tools, and have a solid understanding of digital communication protocols.

Problem-Solving Skills: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a knack for diagnosticsing complex issues in real-world scenarios.

Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to cooperate with internal teams and external customers.

Customer Focus: A strong customer-centric approach, dedicated to providing outstanding support and building lasting relationships.

Autonomy: Ability to work autonomously, priority tasks effectively, and take initiative in a fast-paced, startup environment.

Adaptability: Comfortable adapting to evolving priorities and contributing across various stages of product development.

Travel: Willingness to travel occasionally for on-site customer support and field troubleshooting.

Hands-on Experience: Practical, hands-on experience with technical troubleshooting of components and battery packs.

Note: We operate in an industry where women, as well as other minority groups, are independent under-represented. We encourage you to apply even if you dont meet all the listed qualifications; ability and impact cannot be summarised in a few bullet points.

Your Benefits

Direct impact: See your contributions integrated from cutting-edge research into industrialized products, flying in the field within short cycles development.

Culture & Environment: A dynamic, fast-paced, and collaborative startup environment with flat hierarchies, efficient collaboration, and a strong emphasis on continuous learning opportunities.

Work-life Balance: We offer flexible work schedules, and 30 days of paid vacation each year to support your personal and professional life.

Lunch Benefit: We promote healthy eating and the well-being of our employees with a monthly lunch budget.

Health & Wellness: We support your physical well‐being with a subsidized eGym Wellpass membership, giving you access to thousands of gyms and sports facilities.
