IT Application Manager (m/f/d)

As an IT Application Manager, you are responsible for the stable, secure and efficient operation of a central manufacturer software in the ABF company network. You work in day-to-day business, analyze disturbances, develop applications and ensure smooth system operation. At the same time, you act as a central interface between departments, key users, external service providers and DBU department – focusing on quality, reliability and continuous optimization. You take responsibility for the stable and efficient operation of the central manufacturer software You support hands‐on in day-to-day business and process technical issues independently You enter and develop the manufacturer software in the 2nd and 3rd level support You're analysing Incidents and making sure that they're sustainable You plan and implement changes, releases and updates You ensure smooth system operation through monitoring and structured documentation You enter and develop existing interfaces (e.g. n8n) You work on digitalization, automation and optimization initiatives You accept professional requirements, evaluate them and work them out You advise specialist departments on technical solutions You create clear and implementable concept proposals You are training users and key users You regularly agree with process managers, key users and other stakeholders You control and coordinate professional cooperation with manufacturers and external service providers You take over the end-to-end management for change – from request to go level Secure current and comprehensible technical documentation You promote an active knowledge transfer in the team

You have at least five years of experience in application care or IT operations You have secure knowledge of incident, problem and change processes You have experience in handling ticket systems You want to develop professionally and actively participate in the company's digital transformation You have the ability to work quickly into complex system landscapes Ideally you bring ITIL knowledge, monitoring experience and scripting know-how You benefit from a background as Application Manager, Software Developer or Technical Consultant You have a pronounced hand-on mentality and high self-responsibility You have analytical thinking, a structured working and loadability You communicate clearly and professionally in all directions You meet decisions securely and actively promote themes You draw from team skills, openness and readiness
