As Head of Knowledge Management IQS you drive the development of our training landscape, the digital transformation of our processes, and the upskilling of the worldwide IQS organization. Your Role Lead global training programs for ZEISS IQS customers, Application Engineers, and Sales, including program development, quality assurance, and distribution through the ZEISS Academy Metrology.

Drive the digitization of the division and integrate modern AI tools into processes, training structures, and knowledge workflows.

Oversee the digital Academy platform (including web shop access) and advance the digitization of internal processes with a strong focus on efficiency and user experience.

Coordinate training activities within the Learning Management System and manage the global skillset development for the Application Engineering team.

Develop high-quality training and product content and support the global IQS organization in expanding the customer training business.

Work closely with other Strategic Business Units and coordinate global training initiatives and cross-unit strategic projects.

Provide leadership discipline for the Knowledge Management team and manage cost center planning and monitoring.

Academic background in Engineering or Business Administration (e.g., M.Sc., Dipl.-Ing., PhD, MBA) — tilting a comparable qualification demonstrated through proven expertise and measurable achievements in Knowledge Management. Extensive professional experience, ideally gained over several years in roles involving knowledge management, digital transformation, or learning & development.

Strong leadership and project management skills, combined with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively across different stakeholder groups.

High intercultural competence, with experience working in diverse, international environments across technical, sales, and business functions.

Strategic and conceptual mindset, with a strong drive for AI integration, process digitization, and business oriented solutions.

Technical affinity and excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
