In Group Research & Mercedes-Benz Cars development, we design the automotive generations of the future – with innovative products of the highest quality and efficient development processes. Our team specializes in on-board diagnostics (OBD) for powerful Mercedes-AMG engines, both for emotional conventional drives and for performance hybrids. We are responsible for the functions of the OBD error memory and the Generic Scan Tool Communication. In addition, we coordinate OBD development across the project in close cooperation with the specialist areas and ensure the highest quality of diagnostic functions in future products.

In order to demonstrate compliance with the law in various markets, precise documentation of these diagnoses is essential. When working with our diagnostic database, you will notice optimization potentials. Together with the team, they are analyzed and implemented with your support as needed We are currently developing a new system to further improve our documentation.
