Reference number: A 2025/11 We are the Helmholtz Centre Berlin for Materials and Energy. Research is our core competence. We research solutions for a climate-neutral society: researchers develop and optimize efficient and inexpensive materials for solar cells, batteries and catalysts. These energy materials are essential building blocks on the way into a CO2-neutral and safe energy supply. We build something and you can be there! As a team, we are responsible for the implementation of procurement procedures around all structural measures at our centre. We are the link between planning and implementation. Sounds exciting? You advise the departments, in particular the construction department – on construction, maintenance and framework contracts and support them as a central contact person in the entire procurement management. You plan and control procurement procedures above and below the thresholds – from the selection of the type of award, through the production of the documents to the time schedule and implement them on the e-supply platform. You coordinate the publication, supervise participation competitions, answer questions from tenderers and ensure the timely implementation of the individual process steps. After submitting the offer, you take over the formal offer evaluation, communicate with the bidders, create contract and rejection notifications and are responsible for the documentation as well as for the process. After the contract has been completed, you will follow the contract implementation, accompany the follow-up management and check changes from a contractual and legal perspective. In addition, you keep your knowledge of developments and innovations in procurement law up-to-date.

successfully completed university degree (Diplom / Bachelor) in the preferred fields of economic engineering, business management (with technical background) or comparable practical experience in the implementation of national and EU-wide procurement procedures, ideally focusing on construction, planning and engineering services safe application of the procurement law (in particular VgV, UVgO, GWB, VOB) and pleasure in structured, legally secure work sound knowledge of contract law good PC, SAP R/3 and English skills sovereign occurrence and negotiation security Communication strength, organisational skills and team spirit self-responsible and target-oriented operation with high quality standards
