The Department of Youth and Health (Place of Work: Hohenzollerndamm [for phone number see the original ad], 10713 Berlin) seeks staff for the task area Social work in the Social Psychiatric Service of the Health Office (several places) Reference number: cw26-031J Application deadline: 20.05.2026 Your tasks • Performing social workers on the basis of the Law on Public Health Service (GDG), the Law on Aids and Protective Measures in Mental Diseases (PsychKG), the Social Code (especially SGB II, SGB IX, SGB XII) and the other laws and regulations applicable to the Social Psychiatry Service • Psychosocial counselling, care and assistance for people with mental illnesses, people with mental impairment and people with dependency diseases • Introduction, organisation and mediation of health, psycho-social and economic aid in close multi-professional cooperation with other professions in the working group and other bodies; Institutions involved in local psychiatric care • Crisis intervention • Examination of psychiatric crises and participation in patients following the PsychKG as a high task as well as the BGB • Creation of social analysts as well as production of opinions, social reports and expert opinions for other services and services Cost carriers and other institutions
