Become part of an agile 9-member AppOps team and shape the Next Generation of our securities settlement platform: We develop a future-oriented event drives microservices architecture based on Spring Boot and Kafka, which processes millions of securities transactions for banks in Germany in a stable and performant way. In addition to classic operating tasks, we also maintain modern cloud and AI solutions, such as AWS-Bedrock, and ensure that our platform runs reliably and efficiently. In your role, you act as a central interface between our platform team and the AppOps team and take responsibility for the following topics: AI & Cloud Operations: You operate and monitor our AI-based solutions in the AWS environment – especially services around AWS Bedrock. You make sure that You run stable and take action when there are disturbances or vulnerabilities. Ensure server operation: You are responsible for operating our server landscape in the AWS environment at operating system level – from updates to configurations to stabilization of systems. Drive automation: To increase efficiency and reduce error sources, you automate operations and deployment processes and continuously develop our operations. In doing so, you will introduce your DevOps experience and support the team with flat-form and operating questions, in particular with AWS Cloud Services. Monitoring & Incident Handling: With our monitoring and alerting setup (e.g. Prometheus Stack), you can keep our systems in mind, analyze vulnerabilities, and support the team in quickly raising incidents. Working in operation: You work closely with the platform team, providers and other interfaces, coordinate operations and accompany releases of our applications. Ensure 24/7 operation: Together with your team, you will alternately take a paid call (remote) one week a month to ensure the stable operation of our production systems around the clock.

You have already gained extensive experience in the operation of modern applications, ideally in the environment of microservice architectures. DevOps is more than a buzzword for you: you bring experience in the cloud environment (in particular AWS) and know typical operating and automation topics. Ideally, you have already worked with container platforms such as Kubernetes or similar platform architectures.
