At imBlick Kinder- und Jugendhilfe you take over the pedagogical direction for two very different housing groups in Brandenburg. Two houses, two age groups, two teams and many plans. What both need: someone who gives orientation remains responsive and makes decisions when You stand. In Groß Muckrow near Friedland, five children live between five and seven years in a family-analogous, trauma pedagogical setting. In Eisenhüttenstadt we accompany six young people between twelve and fourteen years and everyone has their own head :) You are close enough as a pedagogical specialist with management function to remember when it's in the team, a child needs more attention or a decision can't wait until next week. That's where your work begins.

You hold the educational and organizational threads of both locations together. Schedules must work. Professional standards are to arrive and live in everyday life – instead of disappearing in the concept folder. You lead the employees in Friedland and Eisenhüttenstadt, give feedback, create clarity and make necessary decisions. You ensure the educational quality of stationary child and youth assistance while keeping the organization in mind. You represent the children and young people to the outside and work with families, youth offices, schools and medical and therapeutic professionals. You coordinate agreements, dates and current topics, even if the day suddenly runs differently than planned in the morning. You remain accessible for both teams and feel early where support, clarification or a clear statement is needed. Then the youth office rings. A school is waiting for feedback. Parents have questions. A therapeutic appointment must be agreed. At the same time, an employee reports on something to be resolved today. And that also includes: Friendly tone. Tough, if necessary. You have studied social work or social pedagogy and know the stationary youth assistance in and out. Educational responsibility is familiar to you.
