As a general member of the church management, legal and strategic questions of ecclesiastical bodies and institutions are professionally and targetedly handled by their broad legal expertise and advice as well as their solution-oriented approach. As a member of the College of the Landeskirchenamt and as part of the five-member Management Committee, you can control the area of law and organization with an innovative atmosphere and a great service orientation, in which different teams deal with various legal issues. Compliance topics play a central role for you. The legal accompaniment of ecclesiastical merger processes, structural changes and measures for administrative modernisation is one of the central areas of this position. With your leadership team and in close cooperation with other regional churches and the EKD, you will develop church legal texts and adapt them to a modern and sustainable church structure. In state, ecclesiastical and civil society contexts, you represent the state church with a secure appearance and convincing legal profile.

With your second legal state exam, you have the necessary legal qualifications to perform the complex tasks in the church management responsibly. Your multi-year leadership experience, like in the ecclesial or non-profit sector, brings you the necessary security in dealing with strategic and human issues. You are familiar with committee work, administrative processes and organisational development and understand how to act and shape them sovereignly in ecclesiastical and civil society contexts. Personally, you are convinced by team skills, strategic thinking and an inclusive leadership style that focuses on trust and dialogue. A strong interest in ecclesiastical life, good knowledge of ecclesial structures and a membership in a church of the EKD are essential for this position.
