Solution Architect - Compute Infrastructure (m/f/d)

The Solution Architect Compute Infrastructure (m/w/d) is responsible for the robust, secure compute solutions for customer projects in the OT environment. Architecture design: Design of scalable, high-availability and safe technical blueprints for compute solutions that include both local data centers and public cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) Product and technology selection: evaluation, selection and standardization of appropriate hardware, software and cloud services that meet the requirements of IT and OT networks Configuration specifications: Creating detailed configuration policies and best practices for the provision and operation of the infrastructure, including the definition of security zones and segmentation between IT and OT networks Project cooperation and implementation: planning, technical guidance and support in the practical implementation of infrastructure projects, in particular for rollouts in sensitive industrial environments Documentation and communication: creation of technical documentation and structured cooperation with the adjacent technical teams as well as stakeholders and customers

Successfully completed studies in computer science At least 2 years of professional experience in the abovementioned activities Knowledge of data center technologies, server hardware, storage systems, virtualization and container technologies Experience in automation and orchestration Expertise in modern network technologies and cyber security (e.g. firewall, segmentation, security zones) Practice in operation of IT infrastructure and related services (monitoring, DNS, backup & recovery, etc.) Very good German and English knowledge in word and writing Communication strength and persuasive power
