For a smooth technical operation from our university campus, you contribute significantly to the safety and functionality of the building infrastructure.
How to make a difference You take the holistic care, control and maintenance of our electrical equipment and facilities (including power supply, sub-distributions, lighting systems, emergency lighting, fire alarm, video surveillance and alarm systems). You accompany, coordinate and monitor maintenance and repair work with a focus on electrotechnical systems and on building facilities (e.g. elevator, heating and sanitary facilities). You carry out technical fault analyses and remedies on electrical systems on your own and take care of small repairs as well as lighting changes. You document maintenance, testing and interference in our FM software T.O.M. (Technical Object Management) and systematically monitor the object-relevant data. You will ensure the timely execution of all statutory recurring tests in the electrotechnical field (e.g. DGUV V3) and take care of the professional remedy. You support the FM team in re- and development projects. You control and document external service providers in the technical field. You support the current campus operation and participate in internal events. You're taking part in the call readiness service.
