You take responsibility for challenging development projects in the Thin Film Measurement Systems sector – from the definition phase to the final series transmission. This combines technical expertise with professional project management. Your tasks include:

Your role You run complex development projects for spectrometer systems End-to-End, from the first idea to series release incl. Production, delivery and testing of prototypes at the customer, with a clear focus on results-oriented implementation

Together with external customers and internal specialist departments, you conduct technical discussions at eye level, clarify specifications and project objectives

You coordinate internal and external stakeholders (e.g. development, manufacturing, service, key account management) and ensure smooth running in all phases of the project. The evaluation and development of strategic development partners and suppliers is also part of your task

You keep technical, economic and timely aspects in mind and control projects proactively

Risk and chance management is in your hands. You can recognize potential risks at an early stage and use opportunities for project success efficiently

You will bring experiences from your projects into the further development of our product portfolio and support product management in strategic planning and prioritization

You have completed their studies in natural or engineering – ideally related to optics, photonics or related technologies

Comprehensive knowledge and multiannual professional experience as project manager of complex development projects and thus in the lateral guidance of project teams as well as strategy work

Practical experience in handling multiple complex interfaces and ideally also in the optical, microoptical, spectroscopic or generally technical environment, such as in the field of laser or thin-film

Very structured, predictive and analytical methods and an independent and result-oriented working style – even with frequently changing priorities

Very good communication skills in German and English (B2-C1), both in the technical and commercial context round off your profile
