(Senior) Requirements Engineer Military Systems (m/f/d)

The coordination and further development of requirements along real operating scenarios, together with stakeholders, military experts and technical experts: is the framework in which you want to introduce your military experience? Are you motivating questions such as the targeted control and safeguarding of requirements as an essential factor in operational capacity, durability and effectiveness of connected military systems?

The Defence & Security division is particularly committed to the armed forces and a recognised technical service provider at national and international level in the design of solutions, the support of analysis, development and implementation projects and the provision of services.

Collection and structuring of the needs of relevant stakeholders in the field of steering missile technologies and defence architectures at functional system and subsystem level Analysis and validation of collected requirements for completeness, consistency and feasibility under technical examination by specialist domain experts. Creation, maintenance and further development of a central requirement register including versioning, traceability and change documentation Implementation of regular request reviews with stakeholders for coordination, risk assessment and priority adjustment Developing clear, testable requirement definitions according to IEEE standard, including acceptance criteria for preparing verification and acceptance processes Coordination of requirements changes by change control process, assessment of impact and resource needs and communication of the consequences to all affected project teams. Supporting development and project teams to ensure technical feasibility in accordance with architectural principles

Successfully completed studies in the field of aerospace engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, like promotion or comparable Multiannual experience in the use of requirements management tools (e.g. DOORS, Require7) Knowledge gained in the field of military weapon system requirements, established knowledge of military standards and defence standards (e.g. MIL‐STD, CPM, PBN) Safe handling of traceability matrices for seamless traceability Experience with agile and classic development methods including documentation and role understanding Continuous training on methods, standards and emerging technologies in request management. German and English skills
