Contract Manager (m/f/d)

Examination, evaluation and negotiation of construction contracts according to VOB/B, BGB and, where appropriate, international contract standards (e.g. FIDIC) Own-responsible contractual support for complex construction and infrastructure projects over all phases of the project Development and implementation of project-related contract and follow-up strategies in close coordination with project management, purchasing and legal department Proactive support of contract implementation including risk assessment, claim management and follow-up negotiations Control and optimisation of contractual communication with clients, subcontractors and partners Technical advice, coaching and support of the project teams in all contractual questions Participation in internal training and further development of standards, processes and tools in contract management

Completed studies in civil engineering or in a comparable course Ideally, five years of professional experience in contract management, construction or project development Very good knowledge of building contract law (VOB/B, BGB), post-order management and practical contract implementation Understanding technical, economic and legal relationships Sovereign appearance, negotiation security and clear communication capability – even in complex situations Structured, solution-oriented operation and high self-responsibility Safe handling of MS Office, ideally experience with RIB iTWO or comparable software
