For our client, the University Hospital Hamburg-Eppendorf (UKE), we are looking for the management (all genders) for the KFE Klinik Facility-Management Eppendorf GmbH (100% subsidiary of the UKE). With over 16,000 employees, 2,000 beds and a total turnover of 1.7 billion. The UKE presents itself as a powerful group in the legal form of a public-law corporation that provides top-level medicine, research and teaching for the Hamburg metropolitan region in 13 centres and around 80 clinics and institutes. Within this complex group structure, the facility management subsidiary of the UKE assumes responsibility for the 30-hectare property – from the strategic development and planning of the future, through the corresponding structural planning and implementation to the operation and maintenance of buildings, technical facilities and other infrastructure. It controls the high technical availability of over 90 buildings with around 23,000 rooms and thus ensures the functionality of a highly complex “city in the city”. As a realisation provider in the tenant rental model of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg, she is also responsible for groundbreaking large-scale projects within the framework of the long-term future plan. You carry out comprehensive budget and earnings responsibility for the KFE and strategically develop facility management in close coordination with the UKE Commercial Director. You report directly to the Executive Board and are closely involved in the UKE leadership network. Ensure the smooth operation of all areas from power plant to land allocation Thanks to the highest service quality and optimal technical availability for the clinic. Complex construction projects and infrastructure measures can be used in the role of realisation bodies and safely – from initial planning to timely handover. You implement resilient governance structures as well as proactive risk management and thus create the basis for meaningful, transparent reporting. The digital transformation and the optimization of cross-departmental interfaces are designed by the use of innovative and future-oriented solutions.

You have completed academic studies and experience in the management of complex organisations, ideally in health care or in facility management. Funded commercial expertise combines extensive expertise in technical building management and a deep understanding of the operator responsibility in the hospital infrastructure. You are distinguished by integrity and decision-making strength and have the professional experience and competence to successfully lead teams through restructuring and create sustainable acceptance for change. A pronounced operational depth and pragmatic implementation strength are characteristic both in securing ongoing operations and in strategic, entrepreneurial development.
