With a view to the special type of activity that is relevant throughout the country, a different place of work can be admitted as Bonn for corresponding applications. The Federal Agency for Real Estate Tasks (BImA) is the real estate company of the federal government, which supports the federal government's real estate policy objectives and provides the necessary areas and buildings for almost all federal authorities. Accordingly, we are represented throughout Germany with more than 7,000 employees and take care of a very broad and colorful real estate portfolio as well as the ecological use and care of the federal nature areas. For these versatile and responsible tasks we are looking for innovative heads that think and act sustainably. In our portfolio management division there are many varied tasks: strategic planning, propulsion of renewable energies, new housing, expert and service services, and contamination management. Planning focuses on the economic interests in order to analyse, develop, manage or exploit the potential of our complex properties. We need you for that! Do with us BImA! The portfolio management division controls the processes and strategic decisions on investing, holding, selling and risk reduction. It supports other divisions in the implementation of development measures and contributes to the housing offensive through new housing. With the Competence Center for Renewable Energy, the Portfolio Management division also makes an important cross-spread contribution to the development of renewable energies.

Management and responsibility: As a department manager, you take responsibility for management and organisation for around 25 employees. Your responsibility lies in the planning, control and monitoring of an economic, efficient and timely performance of tasks, including optimization and design of workflows, working conditions and structures, as well as processes within the department. The division management is represented: You are used as permanent representation of the portfolio management division. In addition, you take responsibility as an inventory management of the division. Developing and evaluating real estate: You take over the planning, control and ongoing development of investment, development and housing measures and valuation processes. The BImA represent: You represent the Bundesanstalt sovereign and expert in working groups on the topics of value determination and project development. We work mobile and flexible and provide the appropriate equipment. However, in part, several-day service trips, including throughout the entire federal territory, are incurred on the post/workplace. These missions are generally planned with sufficient chronological advance, so that the reconciliation of family and occupation is guaranteed.

Education: As a basis, you will bring a completed university degree (Uni‐Diplom/Master) preferably from the fields of economics, business management, facility management, civil engineering, architecture or a comparable qualification. Knowledge and experience: You are motivated to take over leadership tasks and have been able to gather several years of leadership experience in leading or responsible positions, ideally in multi-stage organisational units. You have a wide range of expertise and experience related to construction, property and housing. On this basis, you can demonstrate practical, comprehensive and up-to-date knowledge and experience in building law. Personality: Aside from your professional knowledge and experience, you will bring an independent and service-oriented way of working and a high sense of responsibility. In addition, you have strong organisational and communication skills and a high level of social competence and personnel management skills. You complete your profile with the ability to identify potentials of your staff, promote and develop them and implement the goals of the Federal Equalization Act.
