Production Controller for Team Leader Finance (m/f/d)

Our client is a manufacturing, internationally operating company with over 20,000 employees worldwide and headquartered in the USA. The company, which has been leading the market for decades, supplies international customers from a wide range of industries and has therefore maintained a certain degree of economic stability. In a newly created key position, we are looking for an experienced Plant Controller / Production Controller (m/w/d) with a designated Hands-on Mentality for managing the Finance and Controlling division for the metalworking plant with 300 employees in the Siegen area. In your role, you will report directly to the factory manager, work operatively with and are at the same time controlling business partners along the complete value chain within the factory. You run a small team that will take you on the way to changes, thanks to your experience in change management.

Responsibility for controlling, accounting, compliance, SOX and audits with a small team Creating and monitoring a long-term financial and budget planning for the site, including all relevant departments within the plant Controlling Business Partner for the factory manager along the complete value chain within the plant Responsibility for the compliance and audit-proof creation of monthly and annual accounts according to HGB and US-GAAP Monthly, quarterly and annual production of FP&A Reports for the Management Team accompanying the team on the way to changes; Promoting closer cooperation with the Heads of Department “Your” Work

Successfully completed commercial studies e.g. in Business Administration with a focus on accounting / accounting or controlling / finance Insufficient, multi-year experience as a site controller, production controller, plant controller or controlling business partner in a manufacturing plant; ideally in a matrix organization experience in accounting and compiling monthly and annual accounts according to HGB and IFRS; Knowledge in US-GAAP are ideal, but no need First professional leadership experience or experience in managing project teams Sovereign appearance and pronounced communication strength paired with the ability to motivate people and take part in changes Entrepreneurial thinking and vision, paired with pronounced hands-on mentality Excellent German and reliable English skills
