Field Service Technician - Battery Systems / UPS (m/f/d)

BatterieCenter-Süd GmbH is a technical service provider focusing on battery and energy systems. From our location in Rheinstetten, we serve customers throughout Baden-Württemberg as well as in neighbouring federal states – from planning to assembly to maintenance and service.

Our core business is industrial battery systems, USV systems, emergency and safety lighting as well as safety power supplies. In addition, we work in the fields of photovoltaics and electrical installations.

Our goal is to implement technically clean and reliable solutions – with direct communication, a strong team and employees who work together. Your focus is on the de- and installation of battery and emergency lighting systems at our customers. You demontrate existing battery systems and mount new batteries, racks, cabinets and other system components. If necessary, you can carry out the corresponding cable laying and cabling professionally. In addition, you carry out maintenance, testing and service work on battery, UPS and emergency and safety lighting systems. Depending on your job, you work independently or together with your colleagues. You document your work and measurement results digitally via your tablet. You are active with changing customers and places of use; also multi-day operations with overnight stays are included.

You have a completed electrotechnical training, e.g. as an electronic, electrician, mechatronic, or a comparable qualification. You have technical understanding in the field of electrical, energy or building technology You have ideally experience in service, maintenance or installation of technical equipment You are physically resilient and have no problem with demanding assembly work. You are willing to work out and stay overnight if necessary. You have a class B licence Experience with battery, USV or emergency lighting systems is advantageous, but no requirement.
