Group Leader Development (m/f/d)

Discipline and professional leadership of the design team (mechanics & hydraulics) with approx. 5–6 employees, including capacity planning and individual development of the team. Responsibility for the entire technical implementation: from the new development (concept to series maturity) to the project-specific adaptation (customer order engineering) to the technical maintenance of the current series. Design, dimensioning and integration of complex hydraulic systems (drives, controls, pumps) as well as mechanical assemblies (steel construction/sheet), including the release of drawings, piece lists and schematics. Ensuring the design for compliance and conformity (machine directive, functional safety, e.g. ISO 25119, road approval) and carrying out risk assessments (FMEA) and CE conformity assessments. Project management for monitoring dates, costs and quality as well as close coordination with adjacent areas (production, homologation, technical editorial staff) and representation in technical associations.

Complete engineering studies (engineering, vehicle engineering, mechatronics) or comparable technical qualifications (e.g. technicians with appropriate professional practice). Multiannual professional experience in the construction of mobile working machines, commercial vehicles or agricultural machinery First leadership experience as a team or project manager is required. Known expertise in mobile hydraulics/oil hydraulics as well as in steel construction and safe handling of 3D CAD systems (e.g. SolidWorks, Creo) and PDM/ERP software. Good understanding of regulatory requirements and standards (e.g. StVZO, Machine Directive). High-impact personality (“Macher mentality”), communication skills and structured working methods as well as excellent knowledge of German and English. Travel readiness (approximately 20–30 %) and driving licence class B; a driving licence of class C (LKW) is necessary or of great advantage for takeaway trips.
