Safety Manager (m/f/d)

Responsibility for the role in safety management and coordination of all involved organisational units, project partners and suppliers throughout the entire safety lifecycle Creation, maintenance and control of system security planning, including presentation of security-relevant activities towards project management, procurement authorities and customers Organisation and support of project-specific assessments, certifications and cooperation with external audit organisations Definition and documentation of project-related deviations from overriding system security requirements, preparation for approval by the competent body for system security and preparation of system security assessment reports Initiation and implementation of control processes for supplier safety-relevant subsystems and continuous information to the competent body for system security

University degree in natural sciences, engineering or comparable qualification as well as certified knowledge in project management (IPMA), in Systems Engineering (GfSE), in functional safety (FS) and as CE coordinator Long-standing experience in the field of system security including risk, FTA and FMEA analyses, and well-founded knowledge of relevant standards and standards (MIL-STD-882, ISO 12100, IEC 61508, NavSubC) as well as legal bases such as product liability and product safety law Safe handling of Systems Engineering (ISO 15288), requirement and quality management (ISO 9001/9100) and experience in the management of verification and validation of technical systems Excellent analytical, independent and organizational skills, good English skills in word and writing, and high communication and team competence Ability to ensure the effectiveness and cost-efficiency of system security planning, to comply with legal and contractual requirements, to eliminate maladministration, to create system security assessment reports and, where appropriate, to escalate to management
