The Shopfloor IT Software Engineer develops, maintains and optimizes BDE and MES systems in the production environment. It ensures the technical integration of Shopfloor data into the IT landscape, creates interfaces to ERP systems and contributes to the digitization and automation of production and logistics processes. Main tasks Development, adaptation and support of BDE software solutions in the Shopfloor environment Integration of BDE systems with ERP and MES systems (e.g. SAP, Dynamics, Infor) Conception and implementation of interfaces and data flows between production, logistics and IT Ensuring data quality and availability for reporting and analysis Support for Industry 4.0, IoT and Automation projects Creation of dashboards, reports and analysis tools for production and logistics teams Cooperation with departments, IT and external partners System introductions and upgrades Troubleshooting and support for users in the shopfloor

Complete studies in the field of computer science, business informatics, production technology or comparable Experience with BDE, MES and ERP systems and their interfaces Knowledge of software development (e.g. C#, Java, C++) and databases (PL/SQL) Experience with reporting and BI tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau) Understanding production and logistics processes and their key figures Experience with Python, cloud technologies and IoT platforms Analytical thinking and structured working Communication strength and ability to mediate between IT and production Team skills and joy in interdisciplinary cooperation Proactive attitude to process optimization and digitization High problem solving competence and loadability
