Support in the production of prototype and pilot series Development and design of mechanical components, assemblies and systems for manual and motor-assisted IOL injectors Implementation of clinical, functional and regulatory requirements in robust, manufacturing-oriented designs Creation, testing and approval of CAD models, assemblies, tolerance analyses and technical drawings Support for design reviews, risk assessments (DFMEA) and design verifications Technical documentation and verification Co-operation in injection moulding parts and tool adjustments Construction of mechanical components (focus on plastics)
Complete degree in mechanical engineering or comparable 1-5 years of professional experience in one or more of the following areas: Precision machine construction / machining
Very good understanding of DFM/DFA, tolerances and production statistics Experience in cooperation with external manufacturing partners Safe handling of technical drawings and CAD systems Experience in medical technology or other highly regulated industries - desirable Experience with Solidworks - desirable Experience with IOLs, micro-optics, or (eye) implants - desirable
