In this role, you take responsibility for a central area of our financial organization and, together with your team, ensure that our creditor accounting in the Stadtwerke association is reliably, structured and sustainable. Special responsibility: In your role, you control the creditor accounting of the Stadtwerke Potsdam and its subsidiaries (except STEP) and ensure a proper, timely and high-quality settlement of all creditor processes. Leadership: You run a team of nine employees, accompany them in the working day, conduct employee talks and develop your team professionally and personally. Organization: The coordination, control and further development of the workflows in the field are your responsibility, as well as the continuous optimization of processes and interfaces. Completion and payment processes: payment releases, the preparation of payment runs as well as the date monitoring within the framework of monthly and annual financial statements are part of your task as well as ensuring smooth processes. Digitalization: As a key user (m/w/d) and IT subproject management, you accompany all IT and digitization projects related to creditor accounting, introduce professional requirements, test new solutions in practice and ensure that processes really work in everyday work. Interfaces: As a central contact person, you work closely with auditors, internal departments and external partners and take over special projects, analyses, statistics and cross-disciplinary tasks in the Stadtwerke Association.

Education: A completed study of business management, financial or accounting, or a commercial training with further qualification forms the basis of your professional expertise. Professional expertise: Appropriate professional experience in creditor accounting, ideally in a comparable business environment, and well-founded knowledge in SAP FI (SAP R/3 and/or S/4HANA) and in the current MS Office applications you are characterized. Competences: leadership experience, a clear understanding of roles and the pleasure of taking responsibility, combine with organisational skills, decision-making and a structured way of working. Know-how: You communicate transparently and value-estimatingly and understand how to take your team, motivate and develop solutions together.
