Electrical Engineering Grid Connection Engineer (a*) - Temporary

Your tasks include the independent coordination of network connection projects, from the request to the successful conclusion, taking into account technical and economic requirements. You project network connections, equip them electrically, calculate the connection costs and transfer the projects for execution. Together with authorities, planning offices and electrical specialists, you develop economic and technical connection solutions. In addition, you will accompany construction meetings, answer pre-accepts and participate in commissioning. As the first respondent, you will check and approve the installation planning of high-voltage and medium-voltage connections as well as the associated technical documentation. You ensure compliance with all relevant technical regulations and standards, in particular the VDE AR-N 4110 and VDE AR-N 4120, IEC 62271-200 and IEC 62271-202 as well as the requirements of the Construction Test Service of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg. In addition, you set up the contractual foundations for customer connections and implement legal requirements in contract design.

You have completed university studies in engineering, preferably focusing on electrical engineering or energy technology; an electrotechnical training is advantageous. Ideally, you will bring well-founded knowledge in the field of medium-voltage switching systems and their operation. Experiences with production and grid replacement systems as well as professional experience in switching systems and station construction are desirable. In addition, you have good knowledge of the relevant electrotechnical standards and regulations, in particular the VDE, IEC, DGUV and TAB-MS regulations. A pronounced analytical and structured way of working as well as strategic thinking skills are just as good as your communication strength as well as your strong customer and team orientation. Your profile is rounded off by the class B driving licence.
