asterdorf assistenz west – these are about 1000 employees *in 73 locations. Together we stand for empowerment and inclusion of people with disabilities, as well as children and young people in Hamburg. Due to the diversity of our educational, nursing and commercial skills, we offer around 1,300 people outpatient assistance and special living forms – personalized and socially adapted to the needs of our clients. In our day works, around 300 clients work in office or garden care. We do what makes sense and strengthens education and participation. We're looking for you! For our housing and assistance offer in Osdorf we are looking for you as a responsible specialist.

In the Osdorf district of Hamburg, you will find a newly established housing offer in integration aid, which has started with fresh swing and a dedicated multi-professional team. Not only is there value placed on professional quality, but also on an esteeming team culture, open communication and collegial cooperation.

The motivated team brings together a variety of experiences and new ideas – together we work to enable people with support needs to have a self-determined life. The work focuses on the personalised approach and promotes individual participation opportunities – in an environment that provides room for co-design and personal development.

At your work, the focus is on personal assistance in the primary care, household and advisory area. In addition, you will accompany and enable clients to build and maintain social networks.

The activity includes shift services in the context of early and late services as well as night readiness – including weekend and holiday work. A participation in the service plan is possible and expressly desired.

Your duties

• They support everyday assistance and primary care activities (body care and hygiene).
• They assist our client in developing a daily structure.
• They support our clients in achieving the objectives of the overall plan agreed with the Authority and resource-oriented assistance planning.
• You create the annual social progress reports together with the clients.
• They provide long-term assistance in e.g. the application for social benefits, advice on telephone calls, assistance to authorities, doctors and institutions.
• You are a personal assistance for clients in reliable contact in.
• You are actively working on the further development of our offers.
• They assist our client *in case of need during standby time at night.
• You document your work done in the context of this documentation.

Your profile

• You have a completed training as a curator in, educator in or have a comparable qualification with professional experience in integration aid (SGB IX)
• Clear positioning towards empowerment and inclusion of people with disabilities
• Estimation and sensitivity for the needs of the client *inside
• Open and clear communication
• Structured, independent and self-reflected working
• Ready to work in the shift model with early, late and night readiness
• Fun and joy in the further development of our offers
• A resource-oriented look at the skills and skills of our clients
