Are you bringing in-depth knowledge of marine structures as well as experience in a strategic function in a security and defense-specific environment? Then, as a Business Development Director Navy (m/w/d), you are responsible for identifying business opportunities in the marine environment as well as strategic customer loyalty. In this role, You also act as a link between our Naval Systems and Digital Systems divisions, ensuring a uniform position and a common approach. Your duties include: Systematic observation of all Marine-relevant programmes and initiatives (Bundeswehr Marine, NATO, EU and national partners) Building a resilient network to procurement authorities and military Analysis of market, technology and skill developments in the maritime environment (e.g. sensor technology, management and information systems, cyber & IT, unmanned systems, large-scale projects) Detection of specific business opportunities for the Digital Systems Division Coordination of cross-departmental activities between business units Initiation and monitoring of visits to multinational projects, industrial consortia and studies Representation of the company in maritime specialist bodies, trade fairs and conferences Support for political communication measures in the marine environment

Complete study of economic, engineering or political sciences or comparable qualifications Extensive experience in business development or key account management in the defence or maritime environment Ideally experience with procurement processes of the Bundeswehr, EU and NATO programs Designed analytical, strategic and conceptual competence as well as high communication and networkability Very good knowledge of English and German readiness to travel national and international
