Independently responsible design of analog and digital circuits for medical devices according to internal processes and standards Assessment and improvement of electromagnetic compatibility (EMV) of electronic circuits and layouts Implementation according to the standards for electrical and functional safety for medical devices (IEC60601) Creation and evaluation of insulation diagrams for medical devices and their components Responsible hardware-related programming of microcontrollers according to internal processes and standards Analysis of quality problems with regard to electronic causes Assessment of complex electronic issues and the constitution of Expert Statements for topical issues Independent coordination and negotiations with external development partners with task/target formulations, progress tracking and outcome controls Professional processing of component terminations and support of 2nd source searches or for supplier replacements Design and development of test equipment in the production and development environment Defining and maintaining quality-safe measures in the electronics sector

Successfully completed scientific or technical university studies (Bachelor or Master) Multiannual (10 years +) Professional experience in electronics development and good basic technical understanding, preferably for medical products Strong negotiation with Notified Bodies, external partners, etc. (e.g. TÜV) Very good learning and change orientation including self-reflection as well as cooperation and team skills Very good knowledge of the development of electronic circuits Very good experience in Systems Engineering Knowledge of common tools for embedded hardware development (switching editors, layout tools, simulation programs, common measuring instruments and laboratory equipment etc.) Programming of microcontroller systems Very good knowledge of EMC-compliant circuit design Very safe handling of the simulation of analog and digital circuit parts Very safe handling of ECAD systems (Pulsonix) Impressed safety thinking: patient and user safety as the top priority of any development activity, with simultaneous direct target orientation
