Systems Engineer Networks (m/f/d)

MTG Marinetechnik GmbH has been the centre of knowledge and competence for all projects of the Dimension Lake for 60 years. We advise and support our customers in every step of the planning and procurement process – from strategic requirement management in the early planning phase to meaningful capacity maintenance during use. We break the process in its complexity to make the essential decisions visible. We act as an independent system house and, in addition to orders for the Bundeswehr, we also take over tasks of industrial companies in the national and international environment. Due to the central and connecting character of the Dimension Lake, we also operate interfaces to the other dimensions such as air or cyber. We are looking for a new team member (m/w/d) in part or full time. As a system engineer network (m/w/d), you design sophisticated communication and network architectures for complex maritime systems. You develop innovative solutions and accompany projects from conception to implementation.

Development of concepts and complex network architectures with focus on German Mission Network (GMN) in the overall context of maritime abilities Analysis, evaluation and further development of existing network architectures at conceptual and technical level Definition and coordination of technical requirements for complex maritime systems taking into account military deployment scenarios Technical advice and support of our customers as well as internal project teams on issues related to the German Mission Network (GMN) Compilation of technical contributions in the context of the planning, construction and implementation of new construction projects for marine overwater, public authorities and special ships, including the examination of technical documents and specifications, as well as the advice of the construction supervisor Maintenance and development of existing customer relationships and analysis of future customer requirements Head of Studies and Projects

Successfully completed university studies (FH/Universität) in the field of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, communications technology, high-frequency technology, physics or a comparable technical field Comprehensive knowledge in the field of German Mission Network (GMN) and maritime communications networks Finded knowledge of system analysis, system development or system integration of complex technical systems – ideally in the maritime or defence environment Experience in the design and integration of sophisticated technical systems Knowledge of the procurement and construction of marine overwater vessels and the integration of management and weapons deployment systems are desirable Comprehensive knowledge in the field of relevant standards, standards, guidelines and regulations Knowledge of project management is advantageous Analytical way of thinking, structured way of working and pronounced communication and consulting skills Very good knowledge of German and good knowledge of English in word and writing
