Cloud Engineer (m/f/d)

Developing, operating and optimizing the Azure surfactant of KV North Rhine-Westphalia, including network architecture, identity and access management, subscription structures and security policies Professional taxation and quality assurance of external managed service providers operating Azure-Tenant, as well as specification of technical requirements and reviews of architectural and implementation concepts Define and implement cloud governance policies, compliance requirements and security concepts in close coordination with the information security and data protection teams Developing and maintaining infrastructure-as-code solutions (for example terraform) and automating operations in the Azure-DevOps environment Taxing Cloud Cost Management (FinOps) by Continuous Monitoring, Analyzing and Optimizing Azure Outputs in coordination with Area Management Technical consulting of internal departments and participation in projects with cloud cover in close cooperation with the Solution Cloud Architect

Completed studies (Bachelor, Master preferred) of computer science, business informatics or a comparable discipline – alternatively a relevant training with proven, multiannual Azure Cloud experience Found practical experience in the operation and further development of Microsoft Azure environments (tenant management, Entra ID / Azure AD, network, security center, policy, landing zones) Knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Bicep or ARM Templates) and of Automation (Azure CLI, Azure DevOps) Understanding Cloud Security Concepts, Zero Trust Architectures and Regulatory Requirements for Operation of Critical Infrastructures Experience with StackIt or comparable cloud management platforms is desirable Knowledge of FinOps and cloud cost optimization are advantageous Substantial Microsoft Azur certifications (for example AZ-104, AZ-305) complete your profile Impressed communication skills and experience in coordination with internal and external stakeholders
