As an EHS Safety Engineer / Security Engineer (m/w/*) at the 3M site in Neuss, you have the opportunity to use your knowledge in a targeted manner to advance our joint success. Your area of responsibility includes: Cooperation and support of EHS Manager at Neuss RDO (Research, Development, Office) and Hilden Pilot Plant. Ensuring compliance with §§ 5.6 of the Labour Protection Act. Activities as technical expert for EMEA RDO facilities. Promoting EHS culture and development of EHS training. Cooperation with staff at all levels and participation in EMEA EHS RDO events. Implementation of improvements in EHS management systems and coordination with local requirements. Implementation of risk assessments, accident investigations and audit support. Consultation in the procurement of equipment and the design of jobs.
The minimum qualifications of this role include: Degree in safety technology, mechanical engineering or electrical engineering Qualification as a “safety for work” according to local labour security law Experience in the manufacturing industry or in the field of occupational safety Excellent listeners and strong communication skills in writing and oral in German and English. This further knowledge is advantageous: Comprehensive experience in the field of EHS, preferably in an R&D facility Expertise in dealing with chemicals, PSA, Lock out - Tag out, machine safety, ergonomics, industrial hygiene and risk management Auditor training or experience in conducting audits Experience in cooperation with all levels of an organization Strong prioritization capabilities Personal information On-site job in Neuss Travel expectations: May include up to 10% within the EMEA region Full time
