In the Department of IT Service Center of the Staatsbibliothek zu Berlin – Prussian Cultural Heritage is a place in the Department of Infrastructure Services as System Administrator:in (w/d/m) for Linux Systems to occupy. The Staatsbibliothek zu Berlin (Stabi) is one of the largest and most powerful libraries in Europe. We are talking about 80 languages, developing world-class knowledge resources and want to promote international exchange and free access to information with the latest technologies. Founded in 1661, we consistently focus on digital sovereignty and the active participation of our benefiters. In the IT-Service Center (ITSC) department, Stabi operates over 600 virtual and physical server and large storage systems in the Petabyte area for itself and other institutions of the Stiftung Preußischer Kulturbesitz (SPK). The data network necessary for this purpose is operated as far as possible in self-research. The server landscape includes both Windows and the majority of Linux-operated systems. In total, more than 2,100 employees of the entire SPK are supported on site and in the home office.
